It is hard to capture in words! Here are three different ways of saying what happens ...

    NORTHFIELD is a multi-faith, family
conference held each year since 1893 on the
    beautiful campus of the Northfield-Mt.
Hermon School in the heart of the Berkshires.
The week-long conference offers a variety of
activities for every age group, including:
    • Community gatherings
    • Workshops
    • Sports and recreation
    • Children and young adult activities
    • Singing and dancing
    • Enjoying the company of friends

There is time to learn, to question, to doubt, and to explore what our personal spirituality may mean.

NORTHFIELD is a community -- unique, inclusive and nurturing -- striving for understanding among ourselves and among all people. We foster fun and growth -- personal, spiritual and communal -- while challenging ourselves, our history, our space, our comfort, and our creativity.

It is a place to seek understanding within our diversity.

We take risks, challenge each other, embrace mistakes, dance, laugh, cry, sing, play, come, go, and return again.

You are invited to experience Northfield for yourself.

NORTHFIELD is a week to gather together with intention

To share, to grow, to explore as individuals, as members of a community and as children of the earth and of the Spirit.

As a community, we seek to
• Honor the diversity of life
• Respect the gifts of our elders
• Look with joy to the future through our children
• Affirm life, creatively and thoughtfully
